    Radio-controlled clock
This syncs itself every day to an atomic clock somewhere - it's very useful for last-second bidding on ebay!
I Argos'd it, yeeeears ago - they still sell it.
  2. 2
    Two Samsung monitors
Two monitors really help when cross-referencing information.
Ebuyer - the specific model isn't made, but these are similar enough

    Fish-knife...
...I bought this in Greenwich Market to use as a letter opener. The blade makes a satisying ZING as it opens yet another bill.

    Are you happy?
This is another essential: Some simple life advice, as a simple flow chart. Follow it to improve your life.
    H/34, by Alex Koplin

    Bog standard keyboard
The keyboard that came with my last computer.
I'd prefer one of these, with classic clickety clackety keys. Or a Lebedev Optimus Maximus...
  6. 6
    Carmex
    The king of lipbalms.
    Superdrugs
  7. 7
    Fingerprint reader
Very very useful - no need to enter my log in password for the computer or for websites. Just swipe and you're in!
    Amazon

    Smelly things
One sort of smelly thing, not sure what it's for. And red Tiger Balm for soothing aches and bruises.
Tiger Balm from Boots. Or try China town for the non-westernized stuff.
  9. 9
    Muji 0.5mm pens
One black, one red. I used to be loyal to Pilot G2 0.5s, but they're so hard to get hold of.
    Muji

    Moleskine notebook
The king of notebooks. This one has the grid pattern, because I demand more than ruled pages.
I can't remember, but Amazon sell them, and any stationer should too.
  11. 11
    Sharpie
Not just any old Sharpie, but the stainless steel one. A geek gift from my girlfriend :)
Hard to find in UK, but you can get them from ebay shops
  12. 12
    David Woodcock
Album "Homemade", which probably is. Make sure you watch him live, he knows how to put on a show.
    Myspace
  13. 13
    Sour Skittles
From when my girlfriend went to New York. US sour skittles are so much better than UK ones.
It seems I'm not the only one to think so too: US imports are on ebay UK!

    iPhone 5
Oh, hold on, I've made that joke already.
  15. 15
    Tea
Loose leaf English Breakfast tea from the Algerian Coffee Stores on Old Compton Street. Served in a tall mug, a gift from Shereen.
  16. 16
    Business cards
Vital for when networking and growing the Tagbento community.
I got them printed by Moo

    Anatomically incorrect rude gesture
Useful for when Pardeep of Likeourselves.com is being a pain on the webcam. However, my quick sketch has too many fingers.
  18. 18
    Webcam
It's an MSI webcam, on a flexible neck. The sound and picture quality are so-so.
    Amazon

    o2 XDA phone
This is my phone before I got the iPhone. It's a compact little thing, but Windows Mobile 6 was a true test of patience. I'll still give Windows Phone 7 a try. Maybe.

This is where it all started, and where I work hard on Tagbento. My desk is a slide out draw on runners, in an Ikea system cupboard. There's plenty of space above with shelves for paper work. At night, I slide the keyboard desk under, close the cupboard doors, and my bedroom looks like a bedroom, not like an office.
